Alterations / Bridal
Khia’s mother accompanied her to her fittings, which is great. However, I always have to warn moms when we are taking in a lace dress that at the second fitting the lace that overlaps the seams will be seam ripped and pealed back. It’s not pretty. But, I promise we always put it all back together.
Alteration Details
Shortened straps at shoulders; took in sides of bodice through hips, replacing lace applique; shortened sleeves at arm cap; added bra cups; hemmed inner lining around, second lining across front, tulle layer across front, moved scallop edging up along front of outer layer; over bustle
